100 Headpieces Exhibition by Katsuya Kamo


A solo exhibition of renowned Japanese hair and makeup artist Katsuya Kamo already take place from November 2 - 18 at laforet Museum in Harajuku.
Over 100 headpieces that were created for fashion shows and photo shoots will be displayed along with a replica of his atelier studio.
Otherwise, a multi-faceted artist, Kamo has been active since 1996 when he began working for Junya Watanabe COMME des GARCONS. He has since been involved in fashion shows for brands such as Chanel, Fendi, and Undercover. He has also led visual directions for ad campaigns globally with brands like Fendi and Kenzo, and has had his fantasy head pieces featured in photo shoots for Vouge Paris, Vouge Italia, Dazed&Confused, and Wallpaper.
After joining Mod's Hair in Tokyo in 1988, he spent time traveling in paris before forging his partnership with Junya Watanabe from 1996 onwards.
